Commercial Property Lawyer – Flexible Working – 7+ PQE

Our client is a very different law firm.  They provide their clients with ‘virtual’ legal support and this is delivered exclusively by experienced solicitors.  They provide highly commercial and technically strong advice and do this at a cost which compares extremely favourably with other, more conventional legal practices.  They have an impressive client base which includes businesses ranging from FTSE 100 multinationals, to proprietor managed companies in sectors as diverse as rail, logistics, property development, manufacturing and high tech. 

The lawyers are primarily home-based and are supported by all the technology and legal resources they need to provide an excellent service.  They meet up regularly as a team and promote a highly flexible working environment.  Collegiate in the way they manage their business, they we aim to put everyone in a position not only to achieve a great deal of job satisfaction, but also to really enjoy working with them.

They are looking for commercial property lawyers (solicitors or barristers) who would like to join a business like this.  The successful candidate will have excellent academic and work credentials and at least 7 years PQE.  Equally importantly, you will need to be a good fit with our client’s team; so as well as being charismatic and personable, you will also be highly motivated, client focused and will have a demonstrably commercial approach with plenty of initiative. 

Although the business is growing quickly, at the moment our client would not be able to guarantee sufficient work to occupy someone full-time, so we are interested in people who would enjoy the flexibility of working from home but do not want to make a full-time commitment.  They have an established compensation structure which rewards their lawyers well.  You do not need to have a client following but if you did bring new clients into the business, you would be rewarded for that.
