Banking and Finance Lawyer, 2-6 PQE. BVI.

The Opportunity

A prominent international law firm is seeking a proven Banking & Finance Lawyer to join its team in the British Virgin Islands. The firm's BVI offices are largely populated by ex-City lawyers and they are regularly instructed by large, international corporations and financial institutions.

The successful Banking & Finance Lawyer will work on a broad range of transactions and advisory services, dealing with matters such as syndicated finance, structured debt, asset finance, bond and note issuances, project finance, property finance transactions, funds, insolvency and restructuring.

This is an opportunity for a Banking & Finance Lawyer to gain experience in offshore financial transactions, working with some of the largest and most recognised institutions globally, whilst at the same time, reap the rewards of the BVI's relaxed lifestyle, good work/life balance and low tax rates.

You should have 2 -6 years post-qualification experience for this role, though lawyers at 1.5 PQE are also encouraged to apply. You should have experience working for a major firm and hold an excellent academic track record. You must be qualified to practice law in a UK jurisdiction or in the BVI.
