Senior Legal Counsel, 7 year plus PQE

A new opportunity has been created in a global brand for a Senior Legal Counsel with plus 7 pqe to advise on international projects.

A new opportunity has been created for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a global listed business which manufactures and sells its’ products all over the world.  Reporting into the General Counsel, you will form part of a talented large global legal team and have an international facing role across 50 jurisdictions with an emphasis on Europe. 

This opportunity has arisen to facilitate significant growth in this business division, and we are really looking for an experienced commercial lawyer who can lead on a broad range of commercial legal issues, transactions and compliance issues. Specifically, you will:

• advise on and lead international commercial contracts and projects including distribution, licensing, marketing and IP issues.
• lead corporate transactions (mainly acquisitions) co-ordinating internal teams with the support of external lawyers.
• advise on compliance issues such as ABC and competition. 

This is a really exciting time to join a dynamic business as it is experiencing significant growth and undertake an international facing varied role.  We are keen to hear from commercial lawyers with plus 7 PQE.  You will need to have the ability to lead on large commercial projects.  Any corporate and/or compliance experience would be beneficial. 

This role can be undertaken largely from home, however, there would be a requirement to spend 2 days in the Midlands HQ and/or travel 1-2 times a month.
