Our client is an international technology business with a turnover in the hundreds of millions of pounds and around 2000 employees across the globe, specialising in software and computing platforms.

They are looking to hire an additional in house commercial legal team to give technical legal and commercial input to external customer and supplier contracts, projects and other business activities. This is a wide ranging role where you'll need to have strong technical legal skills around contracts, licenses, sales tenders, projects and procured services and provision of specialist advice. You'll liaise with colleagues across the business, working on multi disciplinary teams in marketing, finance, engineering and HR, across numerous international jurisdictions.

You'll also work on bid reviews, play an important part in the negotiation of key supplier agreements, liaise with external panel solicitors, and input in to a wide range of other legal matters which could range from IPR, due diligence, property. This role should definitely be of interest to a solicitor with a skills base and interest in the technology sector.

You'll possess strong black letter legal skills around contracts and contract law, ideally gained from a recognised commercial law firm, and possess sound negotiating and influencing abilities, and exceptional communication abilities. You'll be able to continue you professional leaning from other legal counsel in the business, and you'll probably have 1-4 years contractual and commercial experience. Any additional experience in the IP / IT field, or working in house, would be useful, but is not essential.
