In-House Counsel, Corporate Commercial. 3+ pqe

An opportunity to join a delightful team of in-house lawyers providing advice on legal issues across one of the UK’s leading fund management businesses. Your primary responsibility will be that of commercial contracts, intellectual property rights, data protection compliance (including the GDPR) and IT matters (including the cloud).  Since the Legal Department is a small team, the role will also involve providing legal advice to the rest of the business which may include fund related matters.

This is an excellent manager with a highly reputable brand. You will be joining on a  12 month fixed term contract with all of the benefits granted to permanent employees. This role is not pitched as a ‘temp to perm’ post, but as the business is getting busier and busier this is not out of the question. You may currently be in a permanent post needing to attain in-house experience to better position you for a future permanent role in-house, or simply be considering making the move to contracting (if not already a seasoned contractor). It is imperative that the right candidate be a self-starter and able to get up to speed quickly.
