Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer, 3 - 6 years PQE, Leeds, £45 - 60k


Thanks to its thriving practice this international law firm is expanding its Insolvency and Restructuring Team in Leeds. This ambitious team and its partners are recognised in the legal directories both regionally and nationally. An opening has arisen for an experienced Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer.

You will be based in Leeds but working as one with the team in London at an Associate/ Managing Associate level. You will be primarily dealing with non-contentious work including advising the boards of a number of domestic energy suppliers, debt sales in relation to well-known retail operators and commercial property portfolios and advising landlords, creditors and supervisors in relation to retail CVAs.

You'll have at least two years' insolvency and restructuring experience, ideally gained at a large regional or city firm. However you will be considered if you have a background in banking or corporate and are keen to diversify. You will have excellent legal skills, quality drafting and the ability to offer practical and realistic advice to our clients are a must.

Depending on your experience to date your salary will be in the region of £45 - £60K. You will receive training and support and there may be the opportunity of being part of a Trans-Atlantic Restructures team.
