New Paralegal Role - Sovereign Wealth Fund - Initial 3 month rolling contract - immediate start

My client is one of the worlds largest and oldest sovereign wealth funds, and they are looking to hire a paralegal on an initial contract basis.

Key responsibilities will include - 

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a range of legal documents including international supplier and service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, POAs and engagement letters 

• Assisting with the review, drafting and negotiating of various financial agreements such as custody agreements, security lending agreements and general terms of business 

• Monitoring ongoing and potential class action litigation claims applicable to KIO, negotiating litigation funding agreements and tracking legal spend

• Complying with internal and external audit requests 

• Reviewing, updating and drafting governance documents and internal policies and procedures 

• Liaising and co-ordinating work product with non-legal departments to resolve outstanding issues

• Providing corporate secretarial services to internal committees such as preparing, collating and circulating meeting agenda packs, minute taking and maintaining and updating accurate committee records

• Following up with any action points from the committee meetings to ensure they have been satisfied 

• Ensuring committees are in compliance with policies, processes and frameworks   

• Undertaking various administrative duties including implementing a paper light policy 

Strong candidates must have relevant corporate/banking experience ideally from an established investment bank and must be available to start in the next two weeks.
