A full service national law firm are looking to grow their IP team in London with the hire of an associate between the 2-5PQE level. In return, the firm can offer a broad role with exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work, an established client base and excellent career progression prospects.

The successful candidate will be exposed to both contentious and non-contentious work and will consider those coming from a background that is solely commercial IP or Contentious IP focused. The work involves advising on licences and other commercial agreements aswell as acting on IP disputes within the High Court or Intellectual property Enterprise court.

The successful candidate will have post-qualification experience from a respected regional firm, City firm or those coming from a strong in-house team. Substantial knowledge of the principles relating to patent, trade mark, copyright and design law is prerequisite to be considered for the vacancy. Exposure to both to both contentious and non-contentious IP would be highly advantageous but is not a requirement.
