The Firm

This firm has offices Nationally, the London office is extremely impressive and has views overlooking the City and River Thames. They now stand at over 200 members of staff and have recently had some heavyweight Partners join the practice, further bolstering their already impressive client base. The firm has recently had a seamless merger with a well-respected practice.

You will find a very collegiate culture, every Partner is on hand to develop, train and mentor all levels of staff. They have many homegrown Partners, the firm has an ethos of sharing rewards, hence them having a very open Equity Partnership model, all Partners are Equity and they have a way of working which ensures that the firm remains very profitable, they continue to invest in their infrastructure and are well-managed.

The Role

The firm are seeking to recruit a new Construction Senior Associate / Partner into their City of London office.

You will join a well-established department that deals with the highest quality of work, with a very varied client base which includes the best-known Developers and well-known household brands, recently they have dealt with deals involving several of London's most iconic buildings. Fee earners deal with manageable caseloads with a real focus on quality.

You will join a friendly, professional and dynamic team. Real Estate is really in this firms DNA and it is their largest and busiest department, you will work with other Partners to lead the team, whilst also running your own caseload.

The firm are busy on both the contentious and non-contentious sides, so they are looking for candidates on either side, depending on your strengths the team will be able to fit around you.

This role would be well suited to a candidate that may have hit a glass ceiling in terms of progression and Partnership. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established firm that has real ambition to continue to grow.

Requirements:

  • You will be a Construction with at least seven years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the amount of experience)
  • You will be based in the City of London office.
  • You will ideally have experience of leading a team, although this is not essential
  • A good billings history is essential, experience of introducing new business is desired
  • You should be ambitious and wanting to progress
  • Remuneration is above market rate and negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent bonus structure and benefits package
