Job Details
Our client, a plc, is a UK global supplier of healthcare and specialist industrial products. We are proud to be instructed to identify a junior commercial lawyer who is dynamic, commercially savvy and wants to be part of a hands on dynamic team.
The breadth of work is qualitative and varied. You’ll be given support and autonomy to: draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts; complete NDAs; provide commercially focused legal advice; train and coach the business on key legal requirements; assist in the management of business and legal risk; assist in management of the intellectual property portfolio; and generally support on a wide variety of legal matters, both in the UK and internationally. Although you will be confident and adept at drafting, you will need to have the desire to develop a diverse skillset, particularly as the role offers opportunity to network with the Legal team’s business stakeholders.
The core team consists of two members, the General Counsel & Company Secretary and Senior Group Legal Counsel. Both have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to their work and place great emphasis on team play. As a nimble experienced team, development and progression of talent is offered. We’re looking for someone who is between NQ to 2 PQE or a Chartered Legal Executive lawyer, with specific exposure to company and commercial law. Strong academics are a must, and you’ll need to have the right blend of commercial acumen and dynamism.
