Our national team of disputes lawyers in the UK now number almost 200 firm-wide, and with our proven track record in litigation, arbitration, mediation and specialist disputes advice, the team is undoubtedly a leader in its field. With an impressive list of FTSE 250 clients including national household names in the financial services, manufacturing, transport, retail and energy sectors (among others), we can offer lawyers a truly diverse mix of extremely high quality work. Firmly established as a national team, we're looking for a partner and/or team to join us to lead the development of the commercial disputes practice in our Leeds office.
It's an exciting time for us here at Womble Bond Dickinson and we believe we have a great story to share. Our transatlantic combination is already delivering great results and has given us a solid platform for growth. Whilst the US links are creating great opportunities for our clients, and our business, we've by no means forgotten our roots and our regional heritage remains central to our business strategy. We have a clear vision, that our partnership all buy into and support, and that shared ambition is what will ensure that we deliver a profitable and sustainable business for our clients and our people.
What we're looking for
Leeds is important to our growth strategy, and this is a great opportunity for an ambitious partner not only to come in and develop the commercial disputes practice in Yorkshire, but to also work with a fantastic group of partners in growing our wider Leeds offering. We're looking for a partner with a credible track record, capable of delivering growth and increasing revenue for the Dispute Resolution Business Group. You'll also be expected to support and drive the wider strategic vision of growth for Womble Bond Dickinson. But as well as driving our business forward, you'll have an equally important role to play in the development of our people, coaching and mentoring and taking responsibility for their career development.
What's in it for you
We've a strong, collaborative culture where success is rewarded and our people are supported and encouraged to achieve their potential, whatever their role in the business. That means you'll benefit from a hugely talented group of business professionals all of whom are enthusiastic and committed to the success of our business and ready to support your practice development, whether that is through sector or business development advice and support, learning and development opportunities or technology and innovation.
We recognise that just because you're a partner, your need for career development doesn't end there. Our Learning and Development team have worked with best in class providers to design a number of masterclasses for partners intended to enhance your leadership and business skills.
In addition, through our D&I practices and programmes we work hard to ensure that difference is visibly valued and welcomed. Visit our D&I page to find out more.
The next step
This is an exciting, rewarding role. If you're up for that challenge then you have the chance to develop your practice, and career, with a firm prepared to invest in your career and support you.
