Our client is a Top 40 UK law firm which has consistently been named the best law firm to work for by national publications. The firm has gone from strength to strength in recent years, reaching their £100m revenue target two years in advance, and growing substantially across all practice areas and locations.

They are now looking for a Principal Associate to join their highly-regarded Birmingham Corporate team. The firm is looking for someone who will be aiming for a Partner role over the next few years as the team continues to expand, so business development and management skills are a must.

The Birmingham office is a focal point of growth for the firm, and a hub of activity, especially in Corporate. You would be leading on large and complex transactions for household names across a variety of sectors. The firm has particular expertise advising technology and retail clients, where it acts for both established companies and fast-growth start-ups.

You will ideally have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience working on a broad range of corporate M&A, corporate finance, and general corporate advisory matters. The wider UK team also works on a variety of capital markets and private equity matters. The firm is open to considering individuals from a variety of corporate backgrounds, including those who are more specialist but looking to broaden their practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering relocating to the West Midlands or those looking for a strong career path combined with good work/life balance. The firm is one of the few in the country to have an all-equity partnership, a very transparent structure, and a supportive career development programme.
