Corporate PSL

Our client is an international law firm and a well-known global brand. They currently seek an experienced professional support lawyer to join their well-regarded corporate team.

This is a non-fee earning role and will involve all of the usual tasks associated with a PSL position including: precedents and know how; training; research; marketing and business development; and general fee earner enquiries. The team handed a broad range of corporate work such as structuring and reorganisations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, funds, debt listings and intra-group financing arrangements, corporate governance, commercial arrangements, share investments and/or the implementation of employee incentive arrangements.

This is a replacement role as the team's current PSL is retiring after a long stint in the position. There will therefore be a significant hand-over period for the successful candidate. Whilst the present incumbent is based in London, due to the nature of the role the firm are happy for the new hire to be based in any of the Cities in which they have a Corporate presence - London, Manchester, Birmingham or Reading.

The successful candidate will be a technically excellent and experienced corporate lawyer, ideally already in a PSL role.
