Intellectual Property Solicitor - Senior Associate

A pre-eminent top tier international commercial practice is eager to further strengthen its already formidable intellectual property offering with the appointment of an additional Intellectual Property Solicitor at either Associate or Senior Associate level to be predominantly based at the firms' modern and vibrant offices in Birmingham city centre and deal with a high-calibre caseload of intellectual property matters.

The Intellectual Property Team, which is rightly proud of its award-winning status, acts on behalf of a stellar client base on matters emanating from a variety of sources to include engineering, real estate, life sciences and pharmaceuticals in addition to working with advanced technology companies on multi-million-pound deals around the globe. The team itself is able to offer a very broad spread of work to involve both contentious and non-contentious matters and it is renowned as the "go to" advisor for specialist advice on the clearance, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights for global leaders who rightly regard the team as the leading authority on intellectual property matters.

In order to bolster the teams' current offering, the firm is keen to appoint an Intellectual Property Solicitor with anything from 1 to 5 years' PQE who has experience of dealing intellectual property matters and who ideally enjoys working on very technical subject matter and who has an interest in technological innovations. This opportunity will allow you to become an integral part of a team which is instrumental in facilitating some of the largest and most technically complex intellectual property issues globally. You will have an abundance of face to face client time and will be required to provide innovative solutions to complex issues relating to strategic projects, so this is very much a role for someone who is ambitious and who has a desire to deal with challenging subject matter in the company of some of the very best lawyers around. In addition, you will be afforded the opportunity to be involved in business development and further raising the teams' standing within the market nationally which will also serve to enhance your own reputation within the intellectual property arena.
