About Us

Our client, an international media company, now has the need for a legal counsel to join their highly respected in-house legal team based in Hertfordshire.

The Opportunity

As a Legal Counsel in a well-respected legal team, you will support the general advisory activities of the Group Legal Team. You will be required to deal with a wide range of commercial contracts, review and manage supplier terms, deal with RFP/tenders, and assist the General Counsel with company secretarial work and a range of project work. 

The Legal Counsel must be able to fit into such a culture and be comfortable working with a diverse group of colleagues. You will need to be able to develop close working relationships with senior members of the management team. Essential legal knowledge will be a given. Equally important is personality and fit. About you

The role will suit a commercially minded lawyer with experience in general commercial contracts. You will also need to have strong attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships with a varied team. Media/IT experience is an advantage but not essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer to work in a broad rangingin-house position with an international media company.
