Move Back into Private Practice – In-House Banking/Finance Lawyers (2-5 PQE) – US Firm in London
We are working with a leading US firm looking for a Finance Associate to join their team in London.
The firm is most interested in hearing from candidates who are currently working in an in-house role, and are looking to move back into private practice.
The partners recognise the value in-house experience can provide in terms of the high-quality transactional work, hands-on experience and understanding the importance of maintaining internal relationships and procedures.
As such, this is an excellent opportunity for in-house lawyers to move back into private practice working with a firm that has a strong reputation in the London market, and offers high-quality work for a sophisticated client base.
This is a primarily lender-based finance role, and candidates who have worked in-house at a financial institution, or the finance department of a leading company with experience in lender-based transactions are ideal for the role, although the partners will consider other strong finance candidates without this specific experience.
The team is highly ambitious so the role will be suited to candidates who are autonomous and interested in taking on a high level of responsibility. The team is also looking to expand so this is an exciting time for candidates to join with fast-tracked growth opportunities.
The successful candidate must have at least one year of private practice experience at a leading firm, which may have been gained during the course of their training contract, and be between two to five years’ PQE.
The firm offers an excellent salary, paying at the top end of the legal market for private practice roles, and above-market benefits to their lawyers.
