CATASTROPHIC INJURY SOLICITOR / ASSOCIATE - MANCHESTER

Catastrophic Injury Solicitor - An experienced Associate or Senior Associate is currently sought by the Head of Department on this national team which focuses entirely on high-value catastrophic injury cases above £500K. You will be working closely with the Partner on a range of complex EL/PL and RTA matters.

• Job Title: Catastrophic Injury Associate (2 PQE - 6 PQE or more)
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
• Reports to: Head of Department
• Previous Experience: Experienced catastrophic injury solicitor with approximately 2 PQE - 6 PQE or more. Applicants with a claimant or defendant background will be considered, but they must have a thorough technical understanding of multi track work with a consistently strong academic record.

FOCUS ON CATASTROPHIC INJURY

This department concentrates exclusively on complex catastrophic injury work above £500K in value whether RTA or EL/PL-related. The successful applicant will focus on developing relationships with a number of key clients of the firm, whilst reporting into the lead Partner in the team.

EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATE WANTED

Applicants should already have gained a thorough grounding in multi track work as well as being able to demonstrate a consistently strong academic record. Previous experience of catastrophic work above £500K would be an obvious advantage, though candidates with lower-value multi track experience may be considered depending on their general aptitude.

Excellent client care skills are crucial as well as the ability to deliver sound 'commercial' advice on matters. The recruiting Partner is looking for accomplished, confident solicitors who are ready to take a major step up in their career.
