Our client is a highly rated mid-sized City law firm focused on serving businesses driving the TMT sector. As the Financial Services sector increasingly adopts and converges with technology, the firm has built a specialist Financial Regulatory practice to service clients operating in the dynamic field of Fintech. They have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial mid/senior level FSR associate to join this impressive and fast growing team.

The team acts for a broad roster of clients ranging from traditional banks developing and implementing new Fintech services and products, to trading platforms, payments/e-money issuers, crowdfunding platforms, insurers, and investment funds/asset managers. Their advice covers authorisation of new businesses, creation and marketing of products/services, EU passporting, staffing/recruitment issues, corporate governance, Financial Crime (anti-corruption, fraud, AML, and bribery) compliance and investigations.

You will be a bright and ambitious Financial Regulatory lawyer with relevant experience gained from a recognised FSR practice and/or in-house legal team, looking to transfer your skills into a more dynamic field of financial services law. In addition to strong technical skills/knowledge and intellectual rigour, you will demonstrate keen commercial awareness and a desire to be involved in business development initiatives.
