Excellent opportunity for an Intellectual Property Solicitor, 4-6 yrs PQE, to join a high profile Team of a full-service international law firm, working with clients in the world's most dynamic industries. You will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters and the work may include any of the following areas:
- advising on copyright and related rights, as well as database rights, in a range of sectors including music, publishing, news, advertising and audio-visual content.
- trade mark, domain name and design disputes advising on, drafting and negotiating licences and other agreements relating to trade marks, copyright and designs, including merchandising, sponsorship and franchise agreements
- advising on the management and protection of our clients' global trade mark portfolios including advising on filing strategies, and mark clearances, and conducting oppositions to conflicting trademarks and revocation proceedings
- advising on content and publishing matters, including copy clearance advice, use in advertising and issues such as web scraping
- advising on image rights, endorsement agreements and sponsorship
- advice on advertising compliance and regulatory issues; and
- corporate IP support in the context of M&A and other transactions.

- advice on advertising compliance and regulatory issues; and
- corporate IP support in the context of M&A and other transactions.
The role involves a high level of client contact and the associate will conduct client meetings independently as well as under supervision.
Candidates must be UK qualified solicitors, with 4 - 6 years PQE and preferably from a firm with a leading intellectual property practice.
