Job Details
This is an extremely lucrative and fascinating Paralegal opportunity with a boutique, developing markets investment bank. They have an international reach, working with investors and companies in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, etc., and they have identified an excellent space in the investment market. Social purpose is at the forefront of what they do, as is keeping up to pace with technological advances and social changes. They have won multiple awards at an international level for the work that they have done. Their trades range in value, up to 700 million USD. Their product services include capital markets, advisory and distribution services and corporate finance.
The Company
The company was formed by an ex-Solicitor from a Magic Circle firm and they have more than 20 years' experience in investment banking. They provide products and services in equities, fixed income and investment banking, specializing in structured finance, capital raising, illiquid bonds and loans, etc.
They also sell and trade equities covering stock markets in America, Europe, Asia, Zambia, and more. They offer investment banking services that include: advising private equity firms, central banks, ministries, state pension funds and supranationals.
Their employees originate from leading multinational investment banks including Morgan Stanley, ING, Citi and more.
The Role
Because the company is dealing with so much work, they are looking for a Commercial Paralegal to join them in their London office.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity with an extremely exciting, innovative and dynamic company. They provide incredible commercial and legal services at an international level. You will have a hands on and expansive role that could well grow in time.
You will: assist with preparing first draft agreements and internal agreements based on pre-agreed templates, draft and negotiate NDAs, review and negotiate terms of business, manage the execution of agreements including liaising and follow-up with various counter parties, law firms and internal stakeholders, assist with answering queries and manage the process of updating all financial services related documentation and much more.
You must have experience in drafting commercial contracts and NDA's, with experience in banking/finance matters being a bonus.
