The team headed up by Partners Simon Hughes and Anthony Alderman, now has an exciting opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join them in either Bristol or Southampton.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with Simon and Anthony, you'll experience a wide range of property work from development projects, acquisitions and disposals to landlord and tenant, asset management and portfolio management instructions for national and international energy clients; and as the team act on all real estate elements of major energy infrastructure developments, you'll see yourself involved in project development work for new generation projects in relation to both renewable energy transactions and mainstream power and pipeline projects.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

We're keen to see applications from either experienced real estate lawyers ideally with previous energy sector experience looking to build on that experience or newly qualified lawyers who've had exposure to quality real estate work during their training contracts from a large regional or city firm with a genuine enthusiasm to build a career in this specialism.  Just as important are excellent drafting skills, a sense of commercial pragmatism and the ability to build lasting relationships with our clients.
