Head of Legal - Maternity Cover

We have a great opportunity for a commercially focused Solicitor to take up an opportunity as Head of Legal for a a period of 9-12 months.

This company has projects based globally, so you will have involvement with some of their larger, more in-depth Commercial agreements. Work will also cover Intellectual Property disputes too.

You will have the opportunity to guide the IP and Commercial team, to navigate a range of issues and agreements, therefore great communication skills and the ability to coach and train staff is imperative.

Reporting to the GC, you will have the required support to ensure you succeed in the role and continue to help them build on their on their brand and market share.

To succeed in this role you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor;
• Have experience of managing a legal team;
• Have an excellent track record within Commercial Contracts and Intellectual Property;
• Know how to handle large scale commercial corporate transactions, such as joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
