Our client is a listed retail company. Since listing, the company has grown exponentially in value and its premium brand, originally British, is much-loved, respected and enjoyed globally! With quality output as its foremost aim, the company has now reached critical mass and is looking to recruit its second lawyer.

Reporting to the Head of Legal and working hand in hand with the young and dynamic leadership team, you will have a broad commercial contracts remit with an increasingly international scope: the business currently has a market leading presence in over 30 markets globally.

Amongst other matters, the remit will include:

• supporting on all types of commercial contracting (eg. supply, distribution, agency);
• advising on marketing, live events, sponsorship, e-commerce and branding matters;and
• supporting the running of the IP portfolio and Corporate Governance initiatives

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and business friendly lawyer, a self-starter who despite being relatively junior, wants to make an impact! You must have genuine commercial contracts experience, gained in either private practice or in-house.
