Fantastic opportunity for a Digital and Privacy Lawyer based in Switzerland

We are seeking a senior counsel specialising in digital technology and Data Privacy on behalf of our client, a well-known technology business and retailer who have their European Head Quarters in Switzerland. You will support the European business with managing all legal aspects related to regulatory compliance, competition law, marketing, sales, commercial and corporate law, intellectual property, data protection, e-commerce and any other matters pertaining to digital and privacy law.

Your main responsibilities include providing legal advice regarding privacy compliance requirements and opportunities for improvement of privacy policies, cookies policies as well as providing running data protection impact assessments of various digital programs involving personal data processing. The successful candidate will be leading in developing guidelines, training and tools to support privacy accountability and compliance in digital marketing and corporate communications; and working cross-functionally with business to provide guidance and practical solutions on a range of legal issues.

You will have at least five years of PQE with experience in data privacy within a business/client focused environment. We are seeking a lawyer to thrive in a very fast paced environment, and will be able to keep up with the current transformations, jumping into exciting projects with enthusiasm and an eye for detail.
