Description

Company Secretary - Global Business

Bristol or Leeds

Role:

- You will act as the Company Secretary for a number of companies within the Group

- Working within a complex and diverse corporate structure

- Responsible for the administration of corporate matters in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements and best practice principles

- You will work across all the UK businesses, including dormant parts of the UK Corporate Structure

- A vast majority of the role will be support the Business with its M&A activity and growth agenda

- Facilitate the efficient and effective organisation and functioning of the companies' boards and committees

- Act as a trust professional, advising Legal and senior business stakeholders on company related issues, corporate governance requirements and process improvements

Profile

Company Secretary - Global Business

Bristol or Leeds

Essential:

- Extensive Company Secretarial background

- Excellent knowledge of Companies Act 2006 and UK Corporate Governance Code

- Experience of corporate transactions and projects

- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

- Demonstrable experience of managing board and committee meetings

- ICSA qualified
