Job Details
Our client houses a comprehensive insurance and reinsurance practice in its London office featuring experts in financial institutions, risk and professional indemnity matters. Clients also appreciate the firm's global offering, which includes strong insurance practitioners in the USA, France, Germany and Hong Kong.
They currently have an opening for an insurance associate (1-5 PQE) with solid experience to join their growing team in London. The successful candidate will have experience of a range skill sets, including advising on professional indemnity insurance claims involving solicitors, surveyors, valuers, accountants and trustees (including policy coverage), financial institutions insurance claims and directors' and officers' liability.
It would be useful, though not essential, if the candidate had experience of political risk and trade credit claims, reinsurance recoveries and product liability claims.
This is a great, and indeed rare opportunity for an insurance litigator to join a global heavyweight. Work quality and remuneration prospects are excellent. The hourly target stands at a very reasonable 1600 hrs.
