Job Details
Based in Bath my client is an innovative, forward thinking media company. A leader in their field they are both a passionate and entrepreneurial business.
Due to the continued success of the business they now have need to recruit a lawyer to join their small but busy in-house legal team.
The role will involve working with the Head of Legal on a variety of legal issues relating to the organisation and its group companies. You will primarily be responsible for the provision of legal advice on a broad range of commercial and IP matters, as well as advising all levels of management on legal issues affecting businesses in the UK, US and Australia.
You will be providing legal advice and support on commercial contracts, disputes, protecting intellectual property assets and data protection, as well as promoting legal risk management. No two days are the same!
With a minimum of 2 years PQE you will have a background in commercial contracts and ideally IP law as well as the confidence to advise on a broad range of commercial issues. In-house experience is welcome but not essential. Commercially focused, the successful candidate will be attuned to achieving business needs whilst ultimately managing legal risk; you will be comfortable working in a constantly changing environment.
