SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL, BANKING, ABU DHABI CLIENT: We are instructed to assist a major banking client with an additional hire to their legal team. Following a restructure, there is now a vacancy for a Senior Legal Counsel into their banking division. ROLE: The role will be broad in remit and cover general advisory matters, disputes, commercial and banking specific documentation, and stakeholder management. CANDIDATE: Strong preference will be given to common law qualified candidates, especially those with strong international law firm exposure, or those with excellent backgrounds from banks. An ideal seniority range will be between 5-8 years of PQE. Your skills background will need to have a strong backbone of general finance, consumer banking, Islamic and SME's. Candidates based in the Middle East region will be given priority but overseas based candidates are very much encouraged.
