An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trade Finance / Commodities Lawyer to join a top London law firm on a locum basis.
The team advise on all aspects of trade finance, including documentary and standby letters of credit, export and pre-export facilities, guarantee issuance facilities, carriage of goods' contracts and shipping terms, receivables' financing, factoring and discounting arrangements.
The firm act for a range of market players in a range of roles; including advising financial institutions on bespoke bilateral transactions, taking participations and providing account bank and other services in syndicated financings, providing outsourcing solutions to other financial institutions and in secondary market trading and arrangements to transfer credit risk. They also act for trading companies, not only on their financings arrangements, but also on commercial trading and shipping terms.
They’re extremely busy so are looking for a Trade Finance / Commodities Lawyer to join them on a locum basis, for 3-6 months.
This role would suit a Trade Finance / Commodities Lawyer with a recent spell in Private Practice. Lawyers at the 5+ PQE level would be a great fit, but those outside this bracket are also encouraged to apply.
As this is an urgent hire for the firm, the ideal Trade Finance Lawyer will be available at short notice. Excellent daily rates are on offer.
