A senior litigation lawyer with significant experience with data breaches is required for this City firm's market leading team 

As part of a leading international TMT Disputes practice, the dedicated Cyber practice is a key part of the team. The Cyber team support clients and manage a full range of cyber matters including: pre-breach services such as cyber simulations; full incident response management; regulatory investigations; and litigation arising out of cyber incidents. The team is consistently praised by the legal directories for its strengths in this area, with the team having been involved in some of the most significant cases to affect this area in recent years.  

The team supports clients pre, during and post-security incidents, seeking to mitigate the attendant reputational, commercial and legal risks. Members of the Cyber team work closely with their non-–contentious Information Law colleagues, offering a coordinated approach which often results in the effective management and resolution of data protection related matters.  

The team is currently very busy dealing with a number of high profile cyber, data protection and privacy disputes and expect this to be a substantial growth area for our team post-GDPR and as issues of online privacy come into the litigation spotlight in the next few years.

They are now looking to add a senior hire to the team.  You should have a minimum of 5 years' PQE as a litigator with experience hands-on experience of advising on cyber matters to include: 

• Development and delivery of pre-breach services to clients; 
• End to end management of cyber security incidents; 
• Managing regulatory investigations, Dealing with litigation connected to cyber matters
