BREXIT LEGAL PROJECT - 6 MONTHS IN-HOUSE FINANCIAL SERVICES - LONDON

We are working with a financial services firm in Canary Wharf who are hiring a lawyer (experienced paralegal or legal professionals would also be considered) to cover a 6 month fixed term contract.

This role will support the commercial and regulatory teams and involves a mixture of corporate commercial legal work; supporting business reorganisations, Brexit documentation, negotiating and drafting agreements, and responding to queries. The legal department is incredibly busy so the successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work to deadlines in a high pressure environment.

The ideal candidate will have qualified from a top UK or international law firm. This will be suited to lawyers with at least 4 years PQE, ideally with experience gained within financial services. You must have prior experience of handling Brexit matters. Paralegals or legal professionals with relevant experience will also be considered. MiFID II and compliance exposure would be beneficial. This is a great opportunity to work closely across the business, and candidates with robust but engaging personality would do well.
