FTSE 150 – Legal Counsel – Commercial Transactions – Fantastic growing team in Sheffield

We are seeking a lawyer to join our client, a FTSE 150 business growing their presence in Sheffield. You will be partnering closely with a wide range of relevant stakeholders to provide commercial law transaction support, advice, guidance and solutions in a commercially focussed and understandable way, and to ensure that all strategic, legal, operational and transactional goals are met in accordance with the needs of the business.

You will be accountable for:

•             ensuring the provision of robust, clear and commercially focused legal transaction support and advice specifically in the specialist area of commercial law ensuring alignment with business needs

•             ensuring that the process of concluding transactions is conducted in an efficient and timely manner to an agreed risk profile, playing an appropriate part in project management.

•             liaising with other GL teams to provide specialist advice as necessary and work collaboratively with CoSec, Procurement, Finance,  Investor Relations, DPO, Group Tax, Comms as required

The successful candidate with have 5 years PQE, preferable within an in-house team, and the ability to proactively identify, develop and lead on the delivery of training programmes and guidance documents to upskill stakeholders on a range of commercial law issues utilising both internal and external resources.
