In-House Counsel – Corporate / Commercial - Venture Capital Fund - 2-5 pqe - London

Our client is a leading Venture Capital Fund seeking a corporate commercial lawyer with at least 2 years pqe to become an integral part of the business. The company invest in and work with entrepreneurs (mostly with a technology focus) who are looking to revolutionise their given industries with cutting edge technology in sectors ranging from medicine to sport and leisure.

The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property on corporate and commercial legal matters. You will work collaboratively and autonomously on a diverse range of matters relating to the business including supply contracts, customer contracts, consultancy agreements, NDAs, joint ventures, research projects, as well as corporate M&A matters. You will have experience within a well respected international firm, technology company or VC Fund and be confident to represent the company and portfolio companies externally on BD events such as pitches, networking and presentations. Experience of, or a willingness to learn, Commercial IP and IT matters will be an advantage.

This is a rare-in house opportunity within the venture capital sector working with an exciting company in its London base. You will work with cutting edge technology companies, best in class investment, engineering and legal professionals and gain great exposure to pioneering and potentially ground breaking work. There will be an extremely competitive basic salary.
