Commercial Lawyer, NQ - 4 PQE global brand

Arbuthnot Yon is working exclusively with one of the worlds leading brands which is seeking to appoint a lawyer with Commercial, IP or Data Protection experience to join their established legal team based in the East Midlands. 

Our client is a leading brand with a global presence employing over 40,000 people worldwide and with over 700 brands in its' portfolio.  An opportunity has arisen to join the UK based legal team and undertake a varied commercially focused role which touches on all aspects of the business.  Reporting into the Head of Legal you will:

• Draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts from procurement contracts to supply agreements with key customers and sponsorship agreements.
• Advise on marketing, social media and brand led activities.  This will involve working closely with the marketing team on product launches, advertising campaigns, promotional materials, social media campaigns and sponsorship deals ensuring that any external marketing is legally sound.
• Work on global group projects as they affect the UK business. 
• Support the rolling out and monitoring of compliance policies and training to the UK business including legal areas such as competition, GDPR, and anti-bribery compliance

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 1 – 4 PQE with commercial, IP, IT or data protection areas to join a leading team where you will be able to experience in a global business.  This position is commutable from the following locations - Birmingham, Warwickshire, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Northampton, Northamptonshire, Leicester and South Leicestershire.
