IP & Data Protection Solicitor, Leeds, 3 + Years PQE Competitive Market Salary
This large Credit Management company have space in their in-house legal team in Leeds for a Commercial Lawyer with experience in Information Technology, Intellectual Property and Data Protection Law. The company are one of the most highly regarded credit management companies and their office is a short distance from Leeds City Centre. This is a new role and you will be working alongside the current General Counsel as well as the wider legal team.
You will be part of a team working primarily on UK debt purchase, new business arrangements and servicing. This will include drafting, advising, reviewing and negotiation on a range of contracts, supplier agreements and confidentiality agreements. You will attend meetings on behalf of the legal department, carry out legal research and provide training for other parts of the business.
You will ideally have a minimum of 2 - 3 years PQE up to around 7 years. Data protection knowledge is essential as well as being knowledgeable of commercial legal contracts. You will be a team player with excellent communication skills while also being self-motivated with strong negotiation and drafting skills. In return you will receive a competitive salary at the market rate depending on your current level of experience.
