Our Practice Development Lawyers play a key part in the development of our strategy and are a vital resource for clients and colleagues alike.

Our Commercial team is currently recruiting for a talented and commercially focused experienced PDL to join the team to based out of either our Bristol, London, Newcastle or Southampton office on a contract basis for 12 months initially.  Working with a multi office team of over 50 fee earners, this role is vital to the on-going development of the Commercial practice, strategy and client service experience at an exciting stage of the firm's growth and development. 

So what will you be doing?

You'll provide external presence and support to our fantastic FTSE 250 and large institutional client base; contribute to strategy and project implementation at a high level, provide internal KM support and activities including continued input into KM awareness in addition to coaching and training.  You'll assist us in delivering strategic and commercial insight into legal, market and regulatory developments and trends as well as assess the impact for key clients and our firm.  You'll help us develop thought leadership and improvements to the way we work that have a direct impact on profitability and the future of our business.  You'll become a trusted advisor to both our clients and our colleagues in terms of knowledge management.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

You'll bring a proven track record in quality commercial work, ideally gained from a large city or regional firm and any previous in-house experience you have will give your application a distinct advantage.  Your strong client service skills will enable you to play a key role in delivering excellent client service. You'll have a passion for collaborative working and for sharing knowledge and expertise and your genuine inquisitiveness about our business (and that of our clients) will allow you to recognise and develop opportunities.  If that sounds like you and you also have the gravitas and experience to enable you to challenge convention,  processes and influence key stakeholders at all levels, then we really want to hear from you.
