Legal Director / Senior Associate - Commodities Finance, London

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced banking & finance lawyer to join a leading team at an international law firm in London. The group provides advice on a wide variety of international and domestic banking and finance transactions, including acquisition finance, asset finance, bank reorganisations, business recovery and insolvency, derivatives, financial disputes, financial regulation, funds finance, private banking and wealth management, real estate finance, receivables and asset-based lending, structured finance and trade finance. This particular position will focus on energy and commodities finance, with 65/70% of the work leaning towards this specialism. The role also has an emerging market focus, with clients coming from Russia and the CIS. Due to the structure of the team, there is a clear route to partnership, with this being achievable in the short to medium term. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join a leading banking & finance team at an international law firm in London.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years PQE gained within a comparable environment. The firm is happy to consider candidates with a generalist background who would like a more specialised role and common law qualified lawyers.
