THE ROLE

A new role has arisen for a finance lawyer at the NQ-3pqe level to join the Financing Practice

You will act for broad range of clients in a team where they encourage lawyers to work for the same clients on different types of transactions.

This avoids lawyers specialising in only one small area and leads to better client relationships and greater involvement in clients' broader business interests.

Their lawyers, therefore, are involved in both the legal and commercial decision making with some of the largest commercial organisations in the world.

As an associate with this firm, you will potentially work with any of the partners in your group and also those from elsewhere, giving you the opportunity to see a wide range of working styles and strategic approaches.

Your work could therefore include

* a bilateral loan

* a syndicated loan, possibly part of an acquisition financing

* a medium term note programme

* a highly structured financing using both debt and equity components and quite commonly legal entities in multiple jurisdictions

* some more specialist financing work, such as a securitisation or project financing

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for a role in this team you will have an excellent academic record, and will have trained with a City, major regional or leading international firm.
