This top UK firm has a strong international presence, including a long standing, successful Hong Kong office.  The finance group in Hong Kong is looking for an English qualified finance lawyer who is looking to relocate.  The team work on large outbound acquisitions on behalf of Asian companies acquiring assets in mainland Europe.  In addition, you will work for a range of partners on a variety of finance transactions that include DCM, securitisation, derivatives etc.

They have a very strong client base, which includes large private equity houses and a great deal flow.  As a result, the level of hands on experience and work quality is much greater than you would might have in the London team of a large law firm. 

There is an opportunity to really help build the practice from a very warm client base and so the career opportunities are there for the right candidate.

To be considered for this role you will be a mid-level (or more senior) finance lawyer who is English qualified, currently working for a leading London finance practice.  You might be feeling that career opportunities in London are limited, or you are ready for a complete change – in which case you should consider this role.  Salaries are similar to what the firm pay in London, but with a favourable tax rate, so the package is extremely competitive.
