Job Details
An international specialist underwriter is looking for an insurance lawyer to join their London team. This is a permanent hire which will report directly into the Head of Legal and also support the compliance function. This is a highly visible and challenging legal with a good degree of responsibility which will see you working closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
In this role you would be adding expert support in respect of policy wordings, clauses and endorsements with a particular focus on the Casualty and Specialty side of the international product line. You would be working closely with clients/brokers and ensuring that all documentation is consistent with legal and regulatory requirements.
You will be providing legal support to all non-US underwriting divisions of the business and supporting various functions in drafting insurance-specific agreements so the scope of the role wil be especially broad.
