FINANCIAL SERVICES REGULATORY ASSOCIATE | LEADING PRACTICE
A UK headquartered, international law firm with a leading Financial Services Regulatory practice is seeking a driven Associate with more than 1PQE to join its large and reputable team in London. The successful candidate will be given a high level of responsibility, both in terms of client contact and also the developing and supervising of more junior Associates.
ROLE
- You will need to be strong technically as the role will be assisting the Partners to deliver high quality work to clients, as well as helping to win new work alongside the Partners
- You would need to be ambitious and keen to grow your own practice and reputation in the market on the back of the growth of the practice to further boost its reputation
- You will be assisting clients in implementing MIFID II, EMIR and Senior Persons Regime, as well as supporting transactional, banking and funds structuring work
FINANCIAL SERVICES REGULATORY ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong academic record (Min 2:1 in LLB or equiv)
- 1PQE+ from a law firm with a highly rated Financial Services Regulatory practice*
- Must have strong knowledge of financial regulation, including FSMA and the FCA Handbook as well as MIFID II, implementing EMIR, and Market abuse / AML matters
*Senior Associates are also welcome to apply
