Job Details
The investment bank of a global financial services organisation are seeking a lawyer with strong derivatives experience for their rapidly growing markets legal team. Ideally they would like a senior lawyer at the 6+ pqe mark but they can be flexible depending on the experience. The team covers a mix of rates, FX trading and emerging markets and they also support a number of other areas where similar products are traded.
Your key responsibilities will include providing expert legal advice in relation to the legal structuring of transactions and new product development and the impact of any regulatory change. You will be responsible for communicating with regulatory and supervisory bodies and dealing with stakeholders within those institutions. You will review and advise on transaction documents, attend and provide guidance to internal committees and help to deliver team and departmental objectives. This is a very varied role that will insure immediate and consistent exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation.
It is essential that you have strong derivatives experience and a good standard of training from a reputable city law firm.
