Complex Commercial Litigation Lawyer - 12-month Contract

Our client is a fast-growing and very highly regarded global law firm. They are renowned for their market-leading professional disputes practice which defends some of the most high-profile and complex professional negligence claims in the world.

At the source of every professional negligence case is complex commercial litigation. The Partners in the group are amongst the best regarded litigators in the City. This leading team are the "go to" experts and are called upon by professionals of all types and their insurers to defend their decisions and reputations. The team is ambitious and busy and are seeking two strong commercial litigation lawyers to join the team for a period of 12 months to work on a specific project.

The successful candidate is likely to have gained experience in either a leading City practice or major regional firm in handling a caseload of high caliber commercial litigation matters. Some exposure to the insurance industry would be of benefit but is by no means a pre-requisite.

If you join them, you will be defending some of the market's largest and most complex claims against an array of professionals. You'll advise some of the largest professional services firms in the world and their brokers and insurers on complex professional indemnity and a range of other insurance issues.

Candidates should:

• Be England and Wales qualified or qualified in a comparable commonwealth jurisdiction
• Possess between 2-5 years' experience in commercial disputes
• Have experience of disclosure documents, witness statements, investigations and regulatory work
• Have obtained their experience in leading city or major regional practices
• Be either immediately available or available at a maximum of 4 weeks' notice
• Be commercially minded and detail oriented.
