THE COMPANY
This innovative, technology led business with international operations based in very pleasant offices in Leeds city centre, has turnover approaching £100 million, a well established legal function, and ambitious growth plans. They are looking for an additional commercial lawyer to join the team


THE ROLE
This is a highly diverse role with a range of interesting and innovative in house legal issues n which to get involved. Typical work includes drafting and advising in relation to business partner and supplier contracts, confidentiality agreements, advising on new product offerings (construct, relevant third party arrangements, customer T&C and accompanying literature), reviewing and advising in relation to data protection arrangements, "horizon scanning" to identify potential legal and regulatory changes that may impact the business. You'd be closely aligned to your in house colleagues and an integral part of the decision making process

ABOUT YOU

Aptitude and attitude are most important, and experience in non contentious contracts related legal work (commercial, projects, IT, corporate etc). This is a very open culture, and so in house experience would very much help, but is not essential. You'll need to deal effectively with people at all levels.
