New Permanent Part-Time in-house Role – Funds Paralegal – Global Asset Manager in the City

My client is a global asset management business looking to hire a Funds paralegal into a permanent role on a part-time basis.

Key responsibilities include - 

• Manage the legal onboarding cycle of new investment managers and fund structure.
• Support senior executives with reviews of fund documentation.
• Managing the legal document management system, including the maintenance of the contracts depository, both electronic and physical (including scanning, logging and filing).
• Coordination of the execution of documents.
• To draft and review of basic legal agreements (e.g. confidentiality agreements) under the supervision of lawyers in the team.
• Respond in an appropriate and timely manner to all areas related to the firms application of the CASS rules (FCA sourcebook), as per the businesses CASS policy and request additional information or assistance where required. Ensure that CASS folder is updated with distribution agreements or other agreements as applicable.
• Assist in preparation of meetings including producing agendas, collating papers, taking minutes of meetings and ensure actions are followed up and completed

An ideal candidate should have relevant experience from working in-house at an Asset management business.
