Job Details
The firm is regarded as an elite US law firm with revenues in excess of $1 billion. The firm has a number of lawyers recognised in the directories as market leaders.
The firm is looking to hire a non-contentious financial services regulatory lawyer with technically excellence in the broad asset management space (private funds, listed and retail funds, asset managers, hedge funds) specifically you should have demonstrable expertise in AIFMD and reverse solicitation. You will be involved immediately with clients from the network and you will lead the London practice. There are currently regulatory associates in London, so you will be supported immediately but the expectation is that you will build a team.
This is a key area for the firm in London and the US management is involved and totally committed to this hire.

In terms of background, you will need to be a partner (leading a practice or part of a team) at a leading UK or US firm with a recognised regulatory practice.
