Contentious Probate Senior Associate

We are delighted to be working with one of Birmingham's leading law firms to help them in making a key hire into their Contentious Probate team. The Contentious Probate market is very busy at present and with recent changes to the law is likely to only get busier. This role is a rare opportunity for the right person to join an exceptional department but also a firm who put their people first and offer a raft of training and development opportunities to help individuals maximise their careers.

In this role you will be joining a small, close-knit team who deal with a varied caseload of matters including simple to more complex, high-value work. They are very successful litigators with the head of the team holding a great reputation within the marketplace.

You will manage your own caseload of matters from initial instruction through to settlement or court. You will work closely with the client to provide advice and support to them as the case develops. This will include engaging with the other side and Counsel, exploring mediation and ADR opportunities as well as preparing witness statements and bundles in preparation of court.

You will be an assertive and confident litigator whocan have a good grasp of the facts and issues surrounding each matter. You will also be enthusiastic about getting involved in business development and networking to help continue to drive the growth of the team.
