The Commercial arm of this Chambers ranked, Top 200 practice are looking to expand their team with an experienced Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to handle a burgeoning caseload. You will be positioned alongside Senior Management and Close Clients alike, giving you both excellent technical exposure and commercial development respectively. With several home-grown Partners there is a real opportunity to build a career here.

Unrivalled for their service they have carved open the market and taken a Lions share of the top-quality work across the midlands. They are currently top banded in Chambers and ranked as a top 200 Law firm.

Individuals at this practice are led by top banded Chambers Partners. There is a Firm wide emphasis on business development, trickling down the hierarchy to develop some of the most commercially aware lawyers in the market.

In its modern incarnation the firm has never had more success than it does at present. Although the firm emphasises being hungry to secure work it has a burgeoning caseload to come into on day one for an individual starting across any of its core departments.

The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to handle a burgeoning caseload. This is an exciting role to join their office in the West Midlands.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling a variety of Partnership agreements, Data Protection, Franchising, and Intellectual Property.

The successful candidate would position themselves alongside senior management in the Firms strongest department, allowing for one to one training, and the opportunity to quickly leverage their technical acumen. You would also be working with several the Firms strongest clients, meaning that you would have excellent exposure to new client relationships.

Requirements

  • You will be a Commercial Solicitor (3+ years PQE, with no upper limit).
  • You will need general commercial experience, in particular dealing with a variety of commercial contracts
  • You will be highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative and collaboratively
  • The ability to integrate into a firmly established department.
  • Excellent client and customer care skills are essential.
  • Salary is well above market rate for the right candidate and there is an excellent bonus structure in place.
