Interim Contracts Lawyer/Contracts Manager

Are you an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer, an established In-house Locum Lawyer or dynamic IP Manager or Contracts Manager looking for your next opportunity? A locum assignment like this one might be the move you have been looking for.

A large public sector organisation in London t is looking to recruit an interim Legal Contracts Manger to assist them due to an increase of work.

Working as part of the legal services team, you will be responsible for advising on all aspects of procedural and commercial law. You will be required to draft a wide variety of agreements, including procurement contracts, research agreements, intellectual property commercialisation matters, copyright agreements, collaborative agreements, material transfer agreements and non-disclosure matters.

It is important that you have:

• A strong commercial background
• Can build relationships quickly
• Can advise senior staff members on procedural and commercial issues with confidence
• Hold a law degree with relevant experience handling commercial contracts and IP matters
• OR be a qualified Solicitor or FILEX with commercial contracts experience gained in-house in either the public or private sectors

The role is due to start as soon as possible and is expected to run for a minimum of 3 months. An hourly rate of between £35- and £45 per hour (inside IR35) is offered for this post.
