Procurement/Commercial Counsel 5+ PQE - KSA (Jubail)

Our client is a leading diversified manufacturing consortium in the Middle East. Due to steadily increasing growth, they are looking to hire a Procurement/Commercial Counsel with at least 5 years' experience of commercial contract law and procurement, ideally with some exposure to manufacturing/engineering/heavy industry to work in their Jubail, Saudi Arabia, facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for advising the company and its' affiliates on, and negotiating, a broad range of procurement-related transactions (non-contentious and contentious) related primarily to purchase orders/commercial contracts.

To be successful in your application, you will ideally

• Be qualified in a common law jurisdiction eg. England & Wales, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore (civil law-qualified candidates with relevant experience will definitely be considered);
• Be experienced in working on commercial contracts relating to large scale procurement and projects (in particular EPC/EPCM arrangements), ideally in-house;
• Most likely be currently employed in-house within a similar business in a legal role focused on commercial/procurement matters.

Arabic language skills and experience gained from within Saudi Arabia/the wider Middle East region are not essential but would be highly regarded. Candidates will be exposed to extremely high quality international work and a very rewarding (tax free) compensation package.
